Ashley Varilek

Ashley Varilek is an Instructor of Management at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) College of Business Administration. With over 10 years of leadership experience in marketing and sales operations, she holds an MBA in Integrated Marketing Communications and Project Management from the University of Denver (2011). Prior to academia, she worked at Yahoo, Sojern, and a nationwide alternative entertainment company, leading teams in dynamic business environments. She emphasizes practical industry insights in teaching and mentoring students.

Service roles include committee member for the Capstone Cup, a competitive event showcasing CBA student skills, and Chair of the Management and Leadership Advisory Board. Varilek is also active in shaping curricula and industry partnerships through her advisory roles. Her professional expertise spans strategic project management, digital marketing, and team collaboration.

Outside academia, she coaches soccer, supports her three children, and enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
