Ashley J Snider is a Professor in the School of Nutritional Sciences and Wellness at the University of Arizona, where she also serves as Center Associate Director for the Center for Precision Nutrition and Wellness. Her research focuses on bioactive sphingolipids in intestinal biology and pathobiology, particularly their roles in inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer, and colitis-associated cancer. She employs cell lines, organoids, mouse models, and patient samples to investigate dietary influences on lipid metabolism.
