Ashley Borchardt

Ashley Borchardt is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, specializing in holistic nursing care and nursing education. She actively guides student nurses in the College for Adults, emphasizing the integration of clinical practice and pedagogy. Her academic journey includes an Associate Degree in Nursing from Minneapolis Community and Technical College, an RN-BSN from Augsburg University, and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from St. Catherine University. Notable experiences include impactful public health coursework in Nicaragua, underscoring her commitment to global nursing contributions.

Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence applications in nursing and Trauma-Informed Pedagogy, aligning with her clinical expertise in Cardiology, Critical Care, and Perioperative Nursing. Beyond academia, Ashley completed Yoga Teacher Training, which influences her teaching and nursing practice. She enjoys music, travel, and exploring Minneapolis lakes with family and friends.
