Ashleigh Filtness

Dr. Ashleigh Filtness is a Research Fellow at QUT's Faculty of Health, specializing in driver sleepiness, impaired driving, and road safety research. Her work integrates driving simulators to evaluate human factors in transportation safety. She holds a PhD from Loughborough University (2011) on obstructive sleep apnoea's impact on driving performance. Key roles include leading CARRS-Q's Driving Simulator Interest Group and contributing to industry-funded road safety projects.
