Ascelin Gordon

Ascelin Gordon is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainability and Urban Planning within the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies at RMIT University. He specializes in interdisciplinary conservation science, focusing on policy impacts, biodiversity offsetting, and sustainable urban development. His work addresses challenges in environmental assessment, climate adaptation, and private land conservation. Gordon lectures in Environmental Processes and Change (first-year) and Environmental Management and Assessment (third-year), and manages the Bachelor of Environment and Society and a related double degree program.

His research integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches to evaluate conservation policies and programs.
