Professor Asaad Faramarzi is a Professor of Civil and Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Birmingham's School of Engineering, serving as Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. He specializes in computational geotechnics, machine learning applications for infrastructure modeling, and geophysical sensing. His research focuses on buried infrastructure assessment, quantum sensor integration, and offshore geotechnics.
