Arūnas Diškus

Arūnas Diškus is an Associate Professor at the Department of Preschool and Primary Education within the Education Academy at Vytautas Magnus University. His research focuses on invertebrate zoology, biodiversity inventory, and insect taxonomy with specializations in Neotropical and Caucasian fauna. He leads the KLIGEN research cluster and has authored over 160 publications, emphasizing leaf-mining insects and cryptic species discovery. His work frequently involves molecular phylogenetics and morphological analysis of genitalia structures to classify new species.
