Artjoms Ivlevs

Professor Artjoms Ivlevs is affiliated with the Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance at Bristol Business School, University of the West of England (UWE). He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA, Bonn) and serves as Subject Editor (Transition and Emerging Economies) for the IZA World of Labor policy brief series.

• Research Focus: Migration, Labour Economics, Ethnicity, Citizenship, Forced Displacement, Education, Corruption, Health, Happiness, Tourism, and Applied Microeconometrics.
• Geographic Expertise: Central and Eastern Europe, Former Soviet Union.

His recent work explores the economics of tourism and well-being in transitional economies. He leads collaborations with institutions like the Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS Regensburg) and the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC Geneva).
