Arthur Troast is a full-time Lecturer in the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, since August 2022. Previously, he served as a part-time lecturer for 30 years.
- Education: BS/BA in Accounting from Bucknell University.
His areas of expertise include Accounting and Auditing. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses such as Introduction to Financial Accounting, Advanced Accounting, and Introduction to Auditing, as well as CPA review classes.
Arthur has over 30 years of professional experience, including running his own accounting, tax, and consulting practice (1992–2022) and serving as an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche. He has worked with companies in diverse industries, offering systems expertise and technology-driven financial solutions.
- Committee Roles: Faculty Advisor for CPA Advising, Career Opportunities in Accounting, and the Worldwide MBA/MS dual-degree program.
- Board Positions: Director and Treasurer at National 309 West 104 Owners Corp., Director at Mahoney Troast Construction Co., and Trustee roles in organizations like the Paul & Eleanor Troast Foundation and Webster Trusts.
