Arslan Tursic serves as a Lecturer in Media Arts, Aesthetics and Narration at the School of Informatics, University of Skövde, where he coordinates multiple Bachelor's level courses in game development and related disciplines from his office in room PA310A.
His research centers on game design with specialized focus on narrative structures, aesthetic principles, and inclusive accessibility frameworks. Key interests include applying color theory to character design, optimizing motion skill acquisition in game tutorials through discovery learning, and developing universally accessible gaming experiences for players with visual impairments.
Tursic led the "Inclusive Game Design" project (January 2014-June 2015) which established methodologies for creating smartphone and tablet games accommodating visually impaired users, resulting in two fully accessible commercial prototypes.
As an educator, he manages eight distinct undergraduate courses totaling 90 credits, emphasizing practical application of narrative techniques and aesthetic principles in game development while integrating accessibility standards into curriculum design.
