Arshia Khan is a Professor at the University of Minnesota Duluth within the Swenson College of Science and Engineering. Her research focuses on advancing NeuroRobotics, integrating neuroscience, robotics, and engineering to develop human-centered technologies.
- Key Research Areas: Human-robot interaction, autonomous behaviors, intelligent sensor systems, and applications in healthcare for dementia and elderly care.
- Notable Projects: Deployment of humanoid robots in nursing homes via collaboration with Monarch Healthcare Management (16 robots across 8 facilities in Minnesota) to assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
