Arnould Massart

Arnould Massart is a renowned academic and musician actively affiliated with the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles as the head of the Jazz Department. His career spans teaching, composition, and pioneering educational methodologies in jazz and rhythmics.

He holds a degree in Germanic Philology (1978) and further trained in music analysis and composition at Goldsmith College, Morley College, and the Royal Conservatory in Mons, studying under Mauricio Kagel and Luciano Berio.

Scientific awards include the SABAM Prize (1985) and laureate status at the C.R.P.L.F. Jazz Competition (1988).
