Jules de Glimes (1814–1881) was a Belgian composer, singer, singing teacher, and music collector. He held roles including temporary singing teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (1837–1838) and adjunct professor of singing (1839–1840). He left academia to focus on composing and private instruction, later teaching Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg (future husband of Queen Victoria). His expertise centered on 18th-century Italian vocal music, with compositions praised by François-Joseph Fétis for their "fine taste in ideas and harmony."
