معرفی
Prof. Dr. Arno Ehresmann is a Full Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Kassel, Germany, since 2005. He leads research in atomic physics, magnetic thin films, molecular/cluster physics, and nanotechnology, utilizing synchrotron radiation for advanced experimental studies.
- Education: Physics studies and doctorate at the University of Kaiserslautern (1985–1994), followed by habilitation there (1999–2002).
Research Interests:
- Atomic physics: Electron correlation, photoionization, quantum interference, and strong-field interactions.
- Magnetic thin films: Exchange bias, ion bombardment effects, and domain wall engineering.
- Molecular/cluster physics: Photodissociation, inner-shell excitation, and chiral molecule studies.
- Nanotechnology: GMR sensors, magneto-optical plasmon resonance sensors, and magnetic particle control.
- Feodor-Lynen/ JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship (1994–1996)
- DFG Habilitation Scholarship (1999)
Professional Leadership: He has served as Principal Investigator (PI) in major projects like BMBF FLASH, DFG Research Group 1789, and DFG Collaborative Research Center 1319 (since 2018). He was Vice President for Research at the University of Kassel (2015–2021) and spokesperson for the Center for Interdisciplinary Nanostructure Science and Technology (CINSaT) (2010–2016).
