معرفی
Arne Pedersen is a researcher at the Department of Space Physics, Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics, University of Oslo. His work focuses on space physics, particularly the development and application of Langmuir probe systems for measuring space plasma properties. He has been an assistant supervisor for master's and doctoral students and actively participates in international space research collaborations, including the Cluster and QB50 missions.
His recent publications highlight innovations in multi-needle Langmuir probes for CubeSats, electron density estimation via spacecraft potential, and studies of magnetospheric plasma transport. Projects include contributions to ESA's ICI research rockets and analysis of polar cap density variations using Cluster data. His career spans decades, including leadership of the space physics group at ESTEC, ESA, Netherlands.
