معرفی
Arnab Das is a Professor in the School of Physical Sciences at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata. His research focuses on quantum systems out-of-equilibrium, including externally driven quantum systems, open quantum systems, and many-body localization. He holds a PhD from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics and has held postdoctoral positions at ICTP (Italy), Los Alamos National Laboratory (USA), and the Max-Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (Germany).
- Education:
- M.Sc. in Physics: Calcutta University (2001)
- Post M.Sc. in Physics: Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (2001–2002)
- PhD: Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (2007)
His research interests span quantum dynamics, quantum phase transitions, quantum state preservation, and quantum noise in devices. He has contributed to understanding thermalization in driven systems and signatures of equilibrium phase transitions in highly excited states.
Grants and Advising: While specific grants or student names are not listed, his role as a Professor suggests involvement in mentoring PhD students. His research group details are pending availability.
Labs/Teams: The 'Group' section of his profile notes that details are 'soon available,' indicating ongoing research activities in his field.
