Armin Schachameier

Prof. Dr. Armin Schachameier is a Professor of Theories and Methods of Social Work at the Department of Social and Educational Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. His academic journey includes training as a nurse, studies in special education, and a diploma in psychology, sociology, rehabilitation sciences, and pedagogy from the University of Würzburg. He earned his PhD in 2008, focusing on chronically multiply impaired addiction patients. He has held roles such as Therapeutic Director at Reha-Zentrum Oberpfalz and Head of the Bachelor's program in Social Work at BA Sachsen before his current professorship.
