Arik Senderovich is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at the School of Information Technology (ITEC) at York University. He holds a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Information Systems Engineering, Statistics, and Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. His research focuses on process mining, business analytics, machine learning in operations research, and queueing systems. He is a Research Fellow at the TD-MDAL (Rotman School of Management) and serves as Scientific Advisor to the process mining startup mindzie.

Research Interests: Arik’s work bridges data science and operational systems. He develops methods for process mining (e.g., discovering queueing networks from event logs) and predictive analytics (e.g., time prediction in healthcare systems). His research emphasizes practical applications in business process optimization and privacy-aware data publishing.

Professional Contributions: Arik advises student projects at TD-MDAL and organizes industry events. His startup, mindzie, specializes in process mining R&D. He previously held positions at the Rotman School and the University of Toronto’s iSchool.
