Dr Arif Mahmud is a Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Roehampton's School of Education, affiliated with the Centre for Learning, Teaching, and Human Development. He holds a PhD from Middlesex University, an MA in Education (Psychology) from UCL, and a BA in Arabic and Islamic Studies from SOAS. His research focuses on social-emotional learning, mental health in education, anti-racism, and Muslim educational experiences.
