Arie van Nes is an Associate Professor at the Department of Population Health Sciences within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University. His work focuses on preventing zoonotic pathogen transmission, particularly livestock-associated MRSA (LA-MRSA) and Clostridioides difficile from pigs and poultry to humans.
