Ariane Fischer is a Teaching Professor at the College of Liberal Arts, Temple University, where she has been teaching since 2008. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Sciences from George Washington University and M.A. degrees in American Studies and Comparative Studies.

Fischer’s research focuses on continental philosophy, critical theory, Marxism, and feminism. Her current project involves preparing a book manuscript analyzing Marx’s The German Ideology within the framework of nineteenth-century radical German philosophy.
She has published articles in prominent journals such as the Marx-Engels-Jahrbuch and the South Atlantic Quarterly, contributing to interdisciplinary dialogues between philosophy, political theory, and cultural studies. Her teaching in the Intellectual Heritage program emphasizes foundational texts in Western and global thought.
