Dr. Argyro Klini is a Principal Application Scientist at IESL-FORTH, specializing in the fabrication of nanostructured materials for optical and optoelectronic applications using laser-based techniques. She holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Crete (2013), with prior degrees in Applied Molecular Spectroscopy (2004) and Physics (1991). Her research focuses on laser deposition methods (PLD, LIFT), material synthesis for sensing and energy applications, and photoluminescence studies. She has coordinated multiple research projects and contributed over 50 peer-reviewed publications.
Research Interests: Nanostructure fabrication, optical sensing, laser-based material processing, photoluminescence analysis, and energy-related material systems. Her work bridges fundamental material science with applied technologies like hydrogen production and environmental monitoring.
