Ardalan Daryaei

Dr. Ardalan Daryaei is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Geomatics, within the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU). He is affiliated with the College of Ecosystem Management, Climate and Biodiversity, focusing on remote sensing applications in vegetation and forestry research.

• Education: PhD in Forest Remote Sensing (2016-2021), M.Sc. in Forestry (2013-2015), B.Sc. in Forestry (2009-2013)

His research interests include remote sensing data analysis for tree species classification, biogeochemical cycles, and environmental sustainability. He has presented at two international conferences in 2025 (EnMAP User Workshop and Living Planet Symposium) on hyperspectral/multispectral data applications.
