Arbnora Shala is a doctoral researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe (IAMO), working in the Department of Agricultural Policy since March 2023. Her research focuses on rural immobility and migration dynamics in Southeast Europe through the lens of the Multidimensional Well-being Index (MWI).

Her work examines how place attachment and multidimensional well-being influence rural mobility decisions in Southeast Europe. She actively contributes to the RuWell project and presents her research at international conferences.
