Apostolos-Paul Refenes

Apostolos-Paul Refenes is a Professor of Financial Engineering at the School of Business, Department of Management Science and Technology, at Athens University of Business & Economics. He also serves as Director of the Financial Engineering Research Centre and has held academic appointments at London Business School, University College London, and the University of Athens.

Research Interests: Neural Networks, Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, and Dynamic Risk Management. His work spans model identification, nonlinear cointegration, and tactical asset allocation.

Teaching: Covers non-parametric statistics, neural networks, financial econometrics, and computational finance, with experience teaching MBA, PhD, MSc, and BSc students across London Business School, Athens University of Business & Economics, and University College London.
