Aoife Gallagher is an Associate Professor at the School of Allied Health, University of Limerick, with a focus on rights-based approaches to inclusion for individuals with communication needs. She co-developed a school participation framework with QUT and leads knowledge translation for the CATALISE consortium (University of Oxford).

- NIH-funded qualitative research on gender-related service inequities for children with DLD
- HEA-funded gender-informed workload allocation models in academia
Research Trends: Her work connects implementation science, qualitative methodologies, and communication disorders, with recent emphasis on emergency care transitions (ED PLUS) and legal system accessibility for youth with language needs.
