Anusha Mohit-Nair

Anusha Mohit-Nair is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Nursing within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University. She is an NMC registered nurse (adult) and Advanced Non-Medical Prescriber with extensive expertise in chronic wound management and adult medical/surgical nursing.

Anusha's research interests focus on wound care, particularly chronic wound management, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), and the role of medicinal plants in wound healing. She has a strong clinical background in surgical non-healing wounds and chronic pressure ulcers, and advocates for innovative wound therapies. Her work bridges clinical practice and academic education in nursing.

She has been recognized with the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy for her contributions to academic education.

Anusha has extensive experience in clinical education, staff management, and mentoring nursing students. She previously served as a lead tissue viability specialist nurse in an acute NHS trust and continues to work as a Tissue Viability Nurse specialist in her free time, maintaining strong links between academia and clinical practice.
