Anurag Singh

Dr. Anurag Singh is an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in the UBC Faculty of Medicine, based at the UBC Northern Medical Program site in Prince George. He holds an affiliate appointment to the Division of Medical Sciences at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). His roles include Medical Director of Kidney Services at the Northern Health Authority and Director of the tri-partite Northern Centre for Clinical Research (UBC-NHA-UNBC collaboration).

• Education: MBBS from Government Medical College Amritsar (India); Postgraduate training in Internal Medicine & Nephrology at University of Bristol (UK); PhD from the Academic Renal Unit, University of Bristol.
• Research Focus: Implementing digital technologies to improve healthcare access in rural/remote areas, patient-centered health outcomes analysis, and advocacy for health equity-driven policy changes. Specializes in nephrology with a focus on clinical research.
