Antony J Workman

Dr. Antony J Workman is a Senior Lecturer in Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health at the University of Glasgow's Institute of Cardiovascular & Medical Sciences. His research focuses on atrial fibrillation mechanisms, particularly electrophysiological and molecular processes. He holds a BSc in Animal Physiology (London University, 1988) and a PhD in Cardiovascular Pharmacology (De Montfort University, 1996). He was awarded the British Heart Foundation Basic Science Lectureship (2001–2011) and secured tenure in 2006.
