Associate Professor Antonio Peyrache is a Deputy Head of School at the School of Economics, University of Queensland, within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. His research focuses on applied economics, econometrics, and productivity/efficiency analysis with particular emphasis on production systems, public sector efficiency, and systemic risk modeling. He leads the Centre for Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (CEPA), driving advancements in efficiency measurement methodologies.
Key research interests include judicial system efficiency, banking systemic risk, and multilevel production networks. Recent work explores homothetic production technologies and optimal organizational structures for public institutions. Featured projects include analyzing productivity in Australian horticulture and European judicial systems.
