Antonio Franchi is a Full Professor at the Robotics and Mechatronics Department, affiliated with the Digital Society Institute. His research focuses on advanced robotics, particularly in aerial robotics, control systems, and autonomous systems. Key interests include motion control, energy-efficient design, sensor networks, and interaction control. He has contributed to projects like Aerial-Core for power infrastructure inspection and the development of novel aerial manipulators.
