Antonio Feteira

Professor Antonio Feteira is a Professor at the Department of Engineering and Mathematics, affiliated with the Materials and Engineering Research Institute (MERI) and the Industry and Innovation Research Institute at Sheffield Hallam University. His primary research focuses on advanced functional oxides for electronic, energy, and biomedical applications. He has authored over 100 articles, with an h-index of 34 and 3,500+ citations.

He has held various roles including Director of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Multiferroics (2010–2014), Academic Lead for the Science Without Borders Programme (2013), and Senior Lecturer in Materials Engineering (2012–2015). His research emphasizes composition-structure-property relationships in functional oxides and 3D integration for device fabrication, with industrial collaborations (e.g., TDK EPCOS, AVX Ltd).
