His research focuses on weed ecology, invasive plant species, and climate change impacts on weed dynamics.
Key research interests include:
- Environmental factors (biotic/abiotic) influencing weed biology
- Biological control of invasive species like swallow-wort
- Developing sustainable management strategies for agricultural and natural ecosystems
Recent publications highlight trends in climate-driven weed migration, microbiome-based suppression methods, and technological innovations like robotic weeding. His lab contributes to ecological pest management frameworks and global invasive species research.
Selected honors include Fellow of the Weed Science Society of America (2023), USDA Teaching Excellence Award (2019), and multiple society-level fellowships. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in weed management and integrated pest management.
