Antonia Bendau

Antonia Bendau is a psychologist and research associate at the Department of Psychiatry and Neurosciences at Charité - University Medicine Berlin. She serves as deputy head of the Recreational Drugs Research Group, the Anxiety Disorders Research Group, and the Sports Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Research Group. Her research focuses on psychoactive substances (e.g., GHB/GBL/BDO) and anxiety-related processes, particularly in crisis situations like the COVID-19 pandemic. She also investigates mental health in professional music and sports, as well as therapeutic applications of musical and physical activities.
