Antonello Barresi is a Full Professor of Transport phenomena at the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT), Politecnico di Torino. He leads the Process development and design course and serves on the PhD board for Chemical Engineering. His research focuses on drying, combustion processes, and pharmaceutical freeze-drying optimization. He has authored over 300 papers and holds patents for freeze-drying monitoring systems. His awards include the AFSIA Award (2018) and Arun S. Mujumdar Medal (2021).
