Anton Reepalu is affiliated with Lund University as a Researcher in Clinical Infection Medicine. His work focuses on HIV treatment outcomes in low-resource settings, tuberculosis co-infections, and post-COVID-19 patient recovery. He leads the RifRSA study on rifampicin resistance in Staphylococcus aureus and collaborates on projects addressing syphilis epidemiology in Skåne. His research aligns with UN SDG targets for global health equity.
Research interests include antiretroviral therapy efficacy, healthcare system challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa, and ICU survivorship. He has contributed to 24 peer-reviewed publications since 2020, with recent work in Acta Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica and Global Health Action.
