Antoine Dop

Antoine Dop is a Research Fellow at the Porous Media Laboratory (PoreLab), University of Oslo. He specializes in experimental and computational physics, focusing on complex granular systems. His affiliations include ongoing research projects at PoreLab, where he resumed work on frictional fingers and magnetic grain dynamics after joining in October 2024.

Research Interests:
Dop investigates pattern formation mechanisms in granular media using discrete element method (DEM) simulations and lab experiments. His work spans auxetic metamaterials, magnetic/non-magnetic grain segregation, and surface instabilities in granular beds. Key methodologies include:
