Antoine Compagnon

Antoine Compagnon is a Professor of French Literature at Columbia University and the holder of the chair of 'Modern and Contemporary French Literature: History, Criticism, Theory' at the Collège de France since 2006. He is responsible for the Respublica-Literaria initiative and affiliated with the LPM team.

His research focuses on the historical, critical, and theoretical dimensions of French literature from the modern to contemporary periods. This work integrates interdisciplinary approaches, connecting literary studies with cultural and intellectual history.
