معرفی
Anthos Christofides, MD, is a researcher affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Immunobiology. His work focuses on the tumor microenvironment, immune cell biology, and molecular mechanisms driving cancer progression. He completed his MD at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and conducted a research fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
His research emphasizes the roles of PD-1 signaling, PPAR pathways, and macrophage polarization in cancer immunity. Key contributions include studies on obesity-induced immune suppression via PD-1 upregulation, the impact of clonal hematopoiesis on cardio-oncology outcomes, and the use of single-cell RNA sequencing to map glioblastoma immune landscapes.
Dr. Christofides has published extensively in journals such as Nature Immunology, Science Immunology, and Biomedical Journal, with a focus on translational immunology and cancer therapeutics. His email is anthos.christofides@yale.edu.
