Dr. Zeitouni’s recent publications emphasize the intersection of head and neck oncology with psychosocial and biomarker-driven outcomes. Key trends include sarcopenia as a survival predictor in operable cancers, ctDNA’s role in monitoring HPV-associated cancers, and longitudinal analyses of depression genetics affecting patient recovery. His studies also explore technological advancements in thyroid nodule management, robotic surgery applications, and three-dimensional modeling of radiation-induced salivary gland damage. The work extends to emotional processing in cochlear implant users and body image concerns in cancer survivors.
