Anthony Myatt is a Professor of Economics at the University of New Brunswick (UNB), currently on leave. He holds a position in the Department of Economics within the Faculty of Arts. His research focuses on critical perspectives in macroeconomics, fiscal policy, and economic education. He has contributed to debates on debt-growth relationships, fiscal multipliers, and the ideological underpinnings of mainstream economics.
Myatt teaches courses such as Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, emphasizing critical thinking. His publications challenge conventional economic frameworks and include co-authored works like The Economics Anti-Textbook and contributions to journals like the Journal of Economic Education and Canadian Journal of Regional Science.
