Research interests include anaerobic stress, seed oils, leaf waxes, and seed dormancy. Teaching roles include convening the Master of Biotechnology program and courses like BIOL8702 and BIOL2162/6162. His recent articles explore RNA modification mechanisms, biotechnology applications, and plant-pathogen interactions. Projects include ARC-funded initiatives in crop development and pathogen resistance. He collaborates internationally on molecular tools for plant research.
