Viqar Ahmad is a Research Fellow at the Australian National University (ANU) within the ANU College of Systems & Society. His research focuses on organic light-emitting devices, hybrid optoelectronics, and non-invasive neural stimulation techniques. He holds a PhD in Physics and dual advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he is a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin, collaborating on flexible organic light-emitting devices for peripheral nervous system stimulation.
Dr. Ahmad's work integrates materials science with biomedical applications, aiming to advance optoelectronic device efficiency and stability. His recent projects include perovskite solar cell optimization and triplet quenching mechanisms in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). He has published extensively on topics ranging from photovoltaic materials to TADF (thermally activated delayed fluorescence) technologies.
