Prof Anthony Lasenby is a Professor at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Cavendish Laboratory's Battcock Centre for Astrophysics. His research focuses on cosmology, geometric algebras, and observational astrophysics. Key areas include the anisotropy of the microwave background, the Galactic Centre, and telescope surface profile measurements. He applies Clifford algebras to solve problems in physics, such as phase reconstruction and atmospheric spectral line broadening.
His work bridges theoretical and applied physics, with contributions to quantum information and interdisciplinary collaborations. Contact him at a.n.lasenby@mrao.cam.ac.uk.
He is part of the Cavendish Laboratory's Astrophysics department, contributing to the Battcock Centre’s mission to explore the uncharted cosmos, from its earliest moments to complex celestial structures.
