Anthony Kelley is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Louisiana State University (LSU), affiliated with the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. His research focuses on theoretical and practical ethics, particularly the philosophy of well-being, and explores how technology impacts human flourishing. He teaches courses such as Ethics, Ethical Theory, and Well-Being, and is developing a new course on 'Human Flourishing in the Digital Age.'

Research Interests: Professor Kelley’s work examines the nature and value of pleasure, defends the desire-satisfaction theory of welfare, and addresses ethical challenges posed by emerging technologies. His recent projects include analyzing prudential value internalism, subjective theories of ill-being, and welfare-nihilist critiques of judgment subjectivism.
Publications & Awards: His work appears in journals like Philosophical Studies and Oxford Studies in Meta-Ethics. Notable awards include the Manship Summer Research Fellowship (2024) and grants supporting AI ethics education and course development. He has also received travel grants for academic collaboration.
