Anthony Dosseto

Professor Anthony Dosseto is a faculty member at the University of Wollongong's School of Science, specializing in isotope geochemistry and its applications across disciplines. He leads the Wollongong Isotope Geochronology Laboratory and has been affiliated with the university since 2022. He holds a Ph.D. in Geochemistry from Paris Diderot University (2003).

His research focuses on using isotopes to study geological processes, climate change, fire history, and human-environment interactions. Key areas include strontium isoscapes for migration studies, fire's role in landscape evolution, and metal isotopes in neurodegenerative diseases. Current supervision includes studies on megafauna mobility, fire proxies, and uranium-series chronologies.
