Dr. Anthony Citrin is a Professor in the School of Education at Peru State College, where he teaches elementary methods courses (both live and online), advises elementary education majors and undergraduate students, and oversees graduate education courses. With 52 years in education and 36 years at Peru State, he previously served as department head for Elementary Education and Graduate Studies.

Research Interests: Dr. Citrin's work focuses on child abuse detection/prevention, elementary education pedagogy, and social studies curriculum. He has conducted nationwide workshops on child welfare and served as an expert witness for the Nebraska Attorney General.
Professional Service: He trained EMTs for the Nebraska Health Department, chaired the Nebraska Foster Care Review Board, and served for 30+ years on the board of Project Response (domestic abuse organization).
