Anthony C. Brown is a Senior Lecturer in Athletics and Physical Education at Vassar College since 1995. He became Vassar's first full-time rugby coach and has led the Brewers to multiple playoff appearances, expanding team sizes and achieving a 166-111-10 record by 2012-13. His coaching spans men’s and women’s rugby programs at Vassar, alongside roles with USA U19 Boys and NRU Under 23 Women’s Select Side. A former rugby player, Brown played in the UK and USA before retiring in 1986, later coaching George Mason University (1988–95) to a 110-52-6 record.
