Dr. Anthony Ashton is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Tutor at Homerton College, University of Cambridge. He is affiliated with the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP), where he conducts research on partial differential equations and related mathematical disciplines.

Anthony Ashton's research focuses on spectral approaches to elliptic boundary value problems, Lie group methods, regularity problems in linear PDEs, and mathematical physics. He also explores analytic number theory, particularly properties of the Hurwitz zeta function.
Scientific Awards:
- 2017: Pilkington Prize for services to teaching and outreach
He has taught courses including IA Vector Calculus, II Integrable Systems, and III Distribution Theory at the University of Cambridge, while supervising a wide range of mathematics courses from IA Differential Equations to IB Analysis & Topology.
