Anthea Coleman-Chan

Anthea Coleman-Chan is the Head of Humanities at the Centre for Open Learning (University of Edinburgh) since 2020, with prior roles including Course Organiser for the International Foundation Programme (2011–2020) and widening participation initiatives in South East Scotland (2006–2011). She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD, 2023) and a PGCert Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE, 2011).

• Research Focus: Community-engaged learning, service-learning pedagogy, and humanities education in higher education.
• Responsibilities: Overseeing course planning, validation, and curriculum development at the Centre for Open Learning.
